As very evident in blogville, Valentine's day is rapidly approaching. There are loads of very clever and crafty bloggers displaying their fabulous creations!
I have a very clever, crafty friend who has been very creative when dealing with her absent-minded hubs using subtle hints. She waits until hubs is in the shower and sneaks over to his laptop to add a link into his favorites folder (she created) labeled DOG HOUSE OR LOVE NEST. ha!
She asked me if I could find flower ideas that was a bit different than the basic FTD or 1-800-SEND HER ROSES OR ELSE ;)
Here is what I came up with....
100 Roses in a Wine Chiller ($329.95)
If you love hat boxes, you'll adore this one ($99.95)....
Maybe have them filled with these very coveted and elegant long stem Black Baccara Roses ($199.95 for 50)...
or these beautiful long stem Cherry Brandy Roses ($159.95 for 50)....
If you want something a little different how about some True Blue Orchids (starting around $59.95 and the vase is extra)...
This is a darling idea ($37.59)
Or how about 1000 roses ($1999.95)
My personal favorite (only $129.95)....
Pink roses in a mint juilip cup along with Ralph Lauren fragrance. Me soooo likey! *sigh*
All of these stunning roses are from Calyx Flowers online. They offer a variety of fabulous arrangement. The wreath shown at the top of this post is 16"x15" is also from Calyx Flowers, price at $59.95.
I wonder which one she will bookmark!

It was great to see all those gorgeous roses, Tina. I would like one of each! Sincerely, Susan from writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteAaaaaaaackkkk, those are GORGEOUS, sweetpea!!! I agree; the pink roses in a silver vase are my favorite also. Although, I wouldn't turn my nose up at any of them, sugar.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous roses....Wouldn't I love to get some of those Cherry Brandy ones....simply goregeous! Hmmmm, now to think up a hint for my hubby ;-)
Hugs and Kisses,

*sigh*! At least I can enjoy the pictures!
ReplyDeleteI know I can always count on a bouquet of flowers from my husband for Valentine's Day, but nothing like these beauties! Wow! I love that sweet little arrangement hanging from the doorknob, and those blue orchids, but I think my favorite would also be the pink roses and a bottle of Romance!
ReplyDeleteHappy REDnesday!
Carol
Oh, I LOVED the "darling idea" hanging from the door knob!! I just might have to try to make one like that! Very pretty! Happy Rednesday! ~tina
ReplyDeleteBeautiful roses! But I'm too practical and might want something that lasts a little longer! Maybe I could "remind him" of a rose I'd like to grow and let him buy it for me! One year, without solicitation he bought me a crape myrtle (we lived in Tennessee at the time.) It was a GREAT gift. I thought of him every time I was around it!
ReplyDeleteHi Tina!
ReplyDeleteLove all these rose ideas. If someone sent me a 1000 roses I would faint! Then I'd wake up and be in heaven! :-)
Susan
P.S.
Appreciate your visit/comment at Houzz! :-)
Great minds think alike ... love your roses too ... especially the 1000 roses. I used to tell my children, if you're going to dream ... dream big!

Happy Valentines. Absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHi Tina1
ReplyDeleteI think the first heart wreath shown is my favorite. All the roses are so beautiful!
I think you have got me hooked on trying my hand as making a china plate mosaic piece. the are all so stunning!
Hi Tina, thanks for sharing all these beautiful flower arrangements. I'm loving the hat box! Hubby and I were talking about blogging today and I told him the valentines started showing up right after New Years Day! Then I mentioned the lines at Sees's Candy would be getting really long soon. I think he took the hint!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your ebay dogs. It sounds like the seller was not very up front. Who would have thought to ask "Is that shadow really black spray paint on half the dog?" I certainly would have let others know in my feedback. I doubt he'll be selling for long if he does that too often. Have you tried cleaning them with anything? I was able to get permanent marker off both glazed and unglazed ceramics with a Tide To Go pen!
Hugs,
Dawn
Hi Tina! What a beautiful post! I think my favorite arrangement is the little door knob one! Thanks for popping in to see me.

Wow, Tina! Gorgeous arrangements. I was a florist years ago. Back when roses were $2 a piece. Since that time, I've never wanted to receive red roses. But now, looking at your pics, I guess I'm finally getting over that.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by today.
Wow, what a flower-explosion! I love it (I'm a florist you know!)!

Hi Tina,
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely flowers! I so love all the roses and that hat box! My fav though is the pink roses in the silver cup; gorgeous! Thanks for sharing and Happy Pink Saturday to you.
Blessings,
Sandi
Wow, all those flowers are gorgeous...although if my sweetie dropped down almost 2 grand for 1,000 roses I would probably have a heart attack...but I'd still enjoy them...imagine all the fun crafts I could make with them once they all dried! Haha!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Grace
Cute post, Tina!
ReplyDeleteI think I would opt for the pink ones... they always win my heart!
Happy Pink Saturday to you! I'm going to come back and check out your other posts tomorrow. Today has been crazy, and I have a fundraiser to attend tonight!
XO,
Sheila :-)
Love your friend's clever idea of doghouse or love nest! hmmm... might have to try that one. The 1.000 roses take my breath away but so pricey. I'm too $$ conscious and probably couldn't enjoy them from thinking what all I could have done with that much $$. RL's Romance is my signature perfume! So the last is my fav too! Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteThat bed covered in rose petals is TO DIE FOR! So, so beautiful. This was just a pleasure to read. Thanks for sharing!
