Happy Pink Saturday everyone! Thank you so much to our fabulous Beverly of How Sweet the Sound for hosting! Such a busy weekend! It's Valentine's Day weekend and the beginning of the Winter Olympics, hosted by Vancouver, BC, Canada. If you have never been to Vancouver, you should go. It is beautiful. Reminds me much of SF, with it's many stucco homes and hills. Even has the easy going flavor similar to SF.
I thought this collage I created shows how well the two occasions compliment one another.

Love your mosaic! I have been watching the Olympics and the opening ceremonies were wonderful. One of my fav's not too elaborate but still spectacular. I love the figure skating the best! Happy Valentine's Day to you also.

Happy Pink Saturday, Tina! What a beautiful heart of pink roses! Hubby and I just returned from a visit to Vancouver where one of my sons lives with his family. We left just before the Olympics shut down several streets into the city. I always enjoy my visit there and the mountains just take my breath away! Thank you for sharing and for your visit. I also love your header as well with all those great mosaic pieces..... very very pretty! I always wanted a piece of furniture with some mosaic in it and I would love to give it a try one of these days with something I have in my home.
Hey you mention Stucco homes, those are my favorite with maybe a little bit of stone in some places.

ReplyDeleteThe athletes are simply poetic to watch aren't they? I love Vancouver. I'm only about a 3 hour drive away and was there this past November. My sister and I shared a perfect day on Granville Island. Of course we shopped at the only two craft stores they had and that was all we had time for. Haha!

Tina, what a glorious collage! Vancouver really is a wonderful city and I've enjoyed many visits there. I think it's a wonderful place to host the Olympics because it's very diverse and has so much to offer!
