Welcome to Today's Thrifty Treasures hosted by the fabulous Rhoda at Southern Hospitality . Thank you Rhoda for hosting! Be sure to view her blog if you haven't already seen it!
I love seeing all the fabulous finds that clever thrifters have scored...don't you?! Grap a cup of java or tea and pop over to Rhoda's to see her fablous finds and use her handy list to pop over to the other participants great deals. The link to Rhoda's post is at the bottom of this post. (I want you to see mine before you go!) First here is a beautiful chocolate pot with matching cups and saucers (4)... Now I have three! They make me smile! Now, if you've noticed my dining table is full of things. That's because I've run out of places to store them. So I am on the hunt for a China Hutch. Gave mine away a few years ago to my daugther. I gave here the whole dining room set. Beautiful Link-Taylor. Wouldn't fit in this small place. This is the one I would love love love to have! Sadly, out of my budget at $299.00 The description says that it's 77" high and 63" wide. Decent size! I love that the shelves can be adjusted at different heights, so you don't have this big long line of china or stemware. Solid wood, made by Thomasville. I'm going to look at this one tomorrow, it's for $150.00, still a wee bit high from my humble budget. It's 77" high x 62" wide. I love it! I love the open shelf below especially! The last one is more closer to what I can afford right now; they are asking $85.00. It's smaller at 55" long and 65" high. It's nice, but I'm not crazy about the arrangement of the drawers on the buffet. Well, I'll let you know what I end up with. I'm in desperate need of something! Thanks so much for stopping in! Be sure to see the other fabulous finds!
Happy week to all!
Personally, I'd start a piggy bank for the first one, but that's just my preference. I'm sure any of these would look lovely filled with your beautiful things!

ReplyDeleteHi Tina, thanks for dropping by my blog and the sweet comment you left for me. I really like that chocolate pot. The colors are to die for and thats what I am on the search for whenever I am thrifting or antiquing. As for the hutches..the second one would be very pretty painted. The first one is very nice however I am more for a sweet deal and giving it a makeover.
